I haven’t been bringing Little A outdoors often because it’s just sooooo hot outside (don’t ask about our electric bill…gasp!) On wekeends though, I always schedule some family time so Little A can have some fun with DrG.
This weekend, we chose to go the Asakusa’s Samba Carnival. It’s a dance parade featuring a handful of women in skimpy outfits, some ladies in feathery costumes and tons of men in equally outrageous suits.
There were a lot of people of course so we chose a spot and waited for the parade to come by.
Did I say it was hot out? We only stayed for three groups and decided we have had enough fun.
We did a quick walk around the area and chanced upon this little cutie!
So many choices!
We settled on a cozy little restaurant and ordered two dishes.
Ebi Mayo. Crispy and mayo-ny.
Chicken. Mildly spicy and tender.
I ordered ginger ale which came in a pretty green bottle.
We stopped by a gelato place and couldn’t resist! Hot day, remember?
Pistachios, Black Sesame and Tofu. Really good stuff! 400yen.

looks like it was great fun! I can see from the glistening sweat on the topless guy that it was hot though =)
